Le Fatra

In Les Sables d’Olonne, located in a charming district on Quai Georges V, Le Fatra offers a bistronomic experience with a sea view for your family vacation along the coast. Delight your palate with dishes like sea bream tartare, oysters, or fresh fish soup as starters, followed by duck breast or monkfish with vanilla for the main course, and strawberry soup or roasted apricot for dessert. Expect unique combinations of flavors, all made with fresh, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients. Menu options range from €21 to €53.

Le Relais Talmondais

At Le Relais Talmondais, the menu changes daily with the seasons, providing endless opportunities to discover the chef’s creations. Enjoy homemade dishes prepared with fresh ingredients in a modern and pleasant setting: fish, seafood, meats, gourmet desserts, and a varied wine list. Two menus are available at €16.80 and €19. During high season, the restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, from 12 PM to 2 PM. Visit them at 13 Rue du Château in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. If you just need a refreshing break, the bar offers drinks daily in summer from 7 AM to 8 PM (from 7:30 AM on weekends).

Le Kou-Dé-Ta

Located at 30 Rue Morpoigne in Jard-sur-Mer, this gourmet brasserie welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere. Treat yourself to lobster and frog leg specialties. Start with a cocktail, then enjoy dishes like tuna tartare, a seafood platter, or grilled half-lobster for a true taste of the ocean, all with a panoramic view. Follow up with dishes such as eels with parsley, seafood couscous, or tournedos Rossini. The menu ranges from €18.90 to €79, with group menus (for 15+ people) available from €30 to €55. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, serving until 11 PM in summer—perfect for a great evening with friends or family.

Le Restaurant du Port

At 5 Résidence du Port du Bourgenay in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, enjoy dishes combining land and sea. Options include oysters, Vendée ham, Spanish-style cuttlefish, beef tartare, mussels, burgers, skate wing, duck filet, and much more. The colorful plates are sure to awaken your senses. On the terrace, take in a beautiful view of the harbor. A fixed “Port Menu” is available for €29.90, along with à la carte options. If you prefer something quick, you can order a snack to go.

La Cipollina

Craving a change of scenery during your vacation? This pizzeria on Rue du Centre in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire blends Italian flavors with French cuisine. In addition to traditional grilled meats, fresh salads, and other dishes, the menu includes regional specialties featured in its delicious pizzas. Choices range from Margherita to Four Seasons, Talmondaise, Cipollina with Vendée ham, or salmon pizza. Desserts are just as varied, with ice cream, traditional desserts, and sundaes on offer. Discover local Vendée flavors with a “troussepinette” sorbet. Pizzas range from €9.50 to €16.90, with the option to order a half-pizza for smaller appetites.
