Le Grand Défi
A nature adventure park, Le Grand Défi is located in Saint-Julien-les-Landes, 25 km north of Talmont. This site boasts the largest tree climbing park in the West, along with numerous other activities such as paintball, Quick Jump, laser tag, adventure courses, pony rides, and orienteering trails. It's the perfect place to fill up on thrills before enjoying a picnic near the playground. Le Grand Défi offers a total of 38 tree climbing courses of varying levels: 8 courses specifically designed for young children starting at age 2, 14 green courses for families and children aged 6 and above, 8 blue courses for participants aged 9 and above, 5 red courses for sporty adventurers aged 12 and above, and 3 black courses reserved for those aged 14 and above. The park also features 30 ziplines over ponds, distributed across the green, blue, red, and black courses. The tree climbing park is open non-stop from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm in July, and from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm in August. Pricing for tree climbing is age-based: €11.50 for children aged 2–5, €16.50 for those aged 6–8, €18.50 for children aged 9–11, €20.50 for participants aged 12–13, and €23.50 for those aged 14 and above.
Indian Forest
Indian Forest Park is located in Moutiers-les-Mauxfaits, 18 km east of Talmont. The site is open from early April to late September. Tree climbing is available in two-hour packages. The site features 20 courses: 4 initiation courses, 4 beginner courses, 4 intermediate courses, 4 advanced courses, and 4 expert courses. Tree adventures are accessible from the age of 5 on the beginner courses. The maxi-zipline course is available for ages 11 and up. Indian Forest also offers other activities such as Water Jump, paintball, D’lir’ball, and various thrilling activities. For tree climbing alone, prices range from €17 for children aged 5-10 and seniors, to €24 for children and adults aged 11-65. Indian Forest is equipped with several snack bars and restaurants where visitors can enjoy a meal or a refreshment.
Feeling Forest
Feeling Forest Park is located in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, on the coast north of Talmont. An adventure and tree-climbing park, Feeling Forest offers treetop courses and play areas for children from the age of 3. An initiation course helps visitors familiarize themselves with the rules of tree climbing. The site features 11 courses of varying levels, tailored to different ages, sizes, and athletic abilities: two baby courses for children aged 3 to 5; 3 courses accessible from age 6; 5 courses suitable for ages 7-8; 7 courses designed for ages 9-13; and 9 courses reserved for those aged 14 and above. The price for tree climbing depends on the age group and the course chosen, ranging from €11 for young adventurers to €21 for those over 14. Feeling Forest also offers other activities, including play parks, tree climbing walls, mini-golf, and car circuits. If sporting activities tire you out, you can always opt for an archery session or visit an amusement park like Puy du Fou.
